Lemon Update for Sebby

I thought the lemons would be yellow by now but look...

they're still GREEN!

But I did get the tree nicely trimmed! Hopefully it won't be too much longer and the lemons will be ready. Do you think it will be before Thanksgiving?

Dinner with Jilly's Mom & Dad

Jilly's mother made us an amazing dinner to enjoy after a trip to the Snowflake temple. Here Jilly unwillingly relinquishes control of the roll basket.

Ask Mia how her meat plate was. (Thank you Mia!)

C-dawg and Cara wait patiently for the roll basket...

George Has Claws

Last night Lucy woke-up and came to me around 3 AM. She said she needed to snuggle with me for the rest of the night because she was having nightmares. (First I have to mention that my husband has a firm "No Kids in Our Bed" policy. I, on the other hand, don't care *where* the kids sleep as long as they don't interfere too much with *my* sleep.) Here is my conversation with Lucy:

Me: Oh dear! How scary!

Lucy: George has claws.

Me: Curious George? He's a nice little monkey.

Lucy: No! George Washington, duh! George Washington has claws!

Lucy snuggled with me for the rest of the night :)

What a terrific day--I had a delicious lunch at Cracker's and then I took a 3 hour nap! Thank you to all my wonderful family and friends for another great birthday!

Fall Break in Washington DC

We took the kids to Washington DC for fall break. They would have preferred to stay and play with their cousins the entire time, but Ken and I somehow managed to drag them downtown to see the sites...

Jack Turns 10

Aunt Terri made an awesomely awesome light saber cake for Jack.

Eight cousins around the dinner table. That's a lot of kids!

Happy Birthday!
The boys help themselves to some cake for breakfast the next morning.
Kate and Sarah are BCF (Best Cousins Forever).
